Lindsay Lohan was starring in commercials by the time she was three. She got her first big movie role in The Parent Trap. Unlike other child stars her career soared and she went on to star in hits like Feaky Friday, Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen and my personal favorite Mean Girls:
Unfortunately, child stars seem to follow a similar path: quick shot to fame and then quick descent into drug and alcohol abuse and then complete oblivion...and sadly for some...death.
All celebrities and not just child stars seem to fall into drug abuse. It would seem like all the money and opportunities they get would make their lives fulfilling enough. I guess shopping all day and going to different countries every month can get boring. Stars seem to die from drug overdose at a higher rate than the average population which proves that money can't buy happiness.
